Craig has 28 years’ experience in the GIS industry. Initially working in local government before moving into the private sector and finally starting ODC in 1994. A driven individual with great communication and project management skills, personally managing surplus of 50 data capture projects for both local government and housing management clients. Under his leadership ODC is now acknowledged as the most respected GIS services organisation in the Housing and Local Government industries.
Alan has extensive experience in cartography having started out over 40 years ago with the MOD. Prior to establishing Global Mapping in January 2002 he spent 23 years in the private sector. He has worked with Craig for the past 20 years both sharing the same ideals aiming for the best quality with projects and customer service.Alan is Chair of Brackley Wildlife Trust Group and enjoys helping out at the local reserve. He plays walking football allowing him to relive his youth but at a realistic pace!
Rick joined ODC in January 2017 with 15 years experience in the GIS industry. For the previous 3 years Rick spent his time as the GIS Officer for Trafford Housing Trust and brings a wealth of knowledge to ODC on how housing associations operate and how ODC can support HA's going forward.
Prior to Rick joining Trafford Housing he spent 8 years as the GIS Adminstrator for Cheshire Police where he successfully managed and implemented a corporate GIS, a corporate gazetteer and delivered a CCTV mapping project which acclaimed national media attention.
In his spare time Rick enjoys match fishing and spending time with his 4 children.
Juliana gained substantial GIS data management experience with London Borough Tower Hamlets Council responsible for managing a surveying team capturing assets, updating street naming and numbering for properties, providing liaison with Landlords and business owners, whilst adhering to statutory legal process. Juliana joined ODC and has provided data capture and quality assurance on many projects as a GIS Data Administrator utilising various data checking processes and software applications to ensure data accuracy.
Joe is a recent graduate from the University of Portsmouth, with BSc and MSc degrees in Geological Hazards and Crisis & Disaster Management, respectively. The former gave him experience using a number of different GIS packages for a range of assignments, from volcanic ash cloud modelling to landslide susceptibility mapping. The latter developed his planning and management skills, enabled him to experience how MapAction work; by taking part in the SimEx 2017 and he based his dissertation research project on, the potential uses of Volunteered Geographic Information to assist the emergency services response to crises. In his spare time, Joe enjoys birdwatching/wildlife photography, cooking and playing the piano.
Jamie is ODC's newest member of staff starting in July 2017. Jamie has been brought to ODC as our Head of Ordnance Survey & Managed Services looking after all ODC Managed Service Clients and Ordnance Survey clients.
